Turns out we don’t have nearly enough storage space.

Looks like our galley kitchen in our old apartment had more shelving than this one. I am not sure how we want our kitchen to look like in the end, so I was thinking of getting shelves from Ikea, which could later go into the basement.… Read the rest

The floors in the living room are free and clear of the carpet!! It took about 3 hours to get all the carpet and tack boards out. Now just have to wash off the sticky dirt.… Read the rest

No, we have not made a master plan for renovations. But in addition to the self-imposed (and in hindsight perhaps just slightly stressful) deadline for carpet/wall removal, there is a bit of an issue with kitchen:
