Treasure Hunt

Our house is not comfortable. It doesn’t have hooks, it doesn’t have shelves, and it doesn’t have that much closet space. (In fact there is not a single closet downstairs – but that’s a whole different post). There’s clutter and stuff everywhere, because we have nowhere to put it.

So this past weekend, I had to have something to go into foyer to catch mail and keys and provide at least some storage. So off we went to my favorite store in D.C. Ruff and Ready did not disappoint – they were having a huge sale in the basement, we got lamps, a dresser for the entrance, trays, and, of course, some other stuff for 75 bucks! I actually went back and got some more stuff on Sunday, this time without Sergey, who as I mentioned, isn’t really all that into stuff.

Ill have to take more pictures of additional stuff, but my proudest find are my two lamps, which together with lamp shades (purchased on Sunday) came to $11 apiece! With just a bit of polish they look as good as new. Maybe I will paint them one day. maybe i won’t.
